Our Mission

The mission of our office is to provide the best orthodontic care possible in the most time-efficient manner, in a pleasant and caring environment. Our patients always come first and will be made to feel that he or she is top priority. We feel privileged to have been chosen to provide orthodontic care to our patients, and we strive to reflect this in our attitude.

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

Broken Bracket Policies

All brackets are bonded onto the teeth using very strong composite cement. This is the same material that is placed in fillings for cavities in front teeth. However, all cement for braces do have a failure point in order for the braces to eventually be removed. Because of this failure point everyone has to be careful of what they eat and chew on while they have braces.

When braces are originally placed, the only thing that can cause the very strong bond of the bracket to the tooth to be weakened is contamination by moisture. If this happens, the bracket will come off at the banding appointment or within the first few weeks of getting the braces on.

Brackets that come off within the first few weeks of the bracket placement will be replaced free of charge. For the remainder of the treatment time we will replace two brackets free of charge. There is a charge of $55.00 per bracket for any other brackets that need to be replaced. After two brackets have been replaced we will send you a letter notifying you that you will be charged for the next broken bracket.
